Wedding Services

Reportage, candid, formal, photojournalism, traditional, contemporary……there are many styles and descriptions for wedding photography, but which one do we do?

All of them! Our style is directed by you, after all, it’s your day and the photographs we take are one of the few lasting reminders other than your memories. At a pre-wedding meeting we discuss your needs with you, what types of images you would like, what group photographs will be wanted, locations at the wedding and the reception venue….we are happy to discuss any ideas, and often have a few of our own! We aim to provide you with totally unique images which capture the joy, emotion and drama of your day – images which you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.

Our day begins with your preparations, at home (or in your hotel room) getting ready. John can spend time with the groom and his best man; whilst Sarah captures the excitement with the bride and her attendants. We are then with you for the remainder of the day, unobtrusively mingling with your guests as everyone enjoys their day. Our experience in wedding photography means we have an excellent sense of anticipation for the impromptu moments which you will want to remember….we make sure we are in the right place to record them for you. Group shots can be done inside the wedding venue, or at the reception; we recommend keeping these to a minimum with close family and friends – endless formal shots can be tiring and boring for all concerned! You will want to get on with the fun!

Over the course of the day we will take some time out with just the two of you for some intimate and artistic images of the new Mr and Mrs. This is an time for you to take a breather, have a sit down and perhaps a quiet glass of bubbly together. It’s our chance to do some really creative and passionate photography. If you are having a meal, we take this opportunity for a short break – but we never go too far away!

Unlikely many other wedding photographers our fee includes evening coverage – whether you are having a small family get together or a disco for hundreds of people, we want to join in and capture this part of the day. After all, you will want your wedding album to represent the whole day, not just parts of it. By the evening everyone has relaxed a little and got used to being photographed, which allows us to capture the fun and excitement in a more informal manner – photographing guests, any entertainment you have arranged, and of course your first dance as man and wife.

With two professional photographers available throughout we guarantee to get excellent coverage of the whole day – with amazing images which reflect the time and love you have put into preparing the day – and which will give you an album of memories for you to share and cherish for a lifetime.
